Noelle's Story

Noelle is a resilient 6–7 year old pittie mix, weighing around 60-65lbs, who has overcome so much in her journey. After years of neglect left her with hind limb paralysis, Noelle has blossomed in foster care since December 2024 and is now ready to find her forever home

Despite her challenges, Noelle is a strong, spirited girl with a big heart. She’s gained back her health and weight, has a fantastic appetite, and loves nothing more than chewing on her favorite flavored nylon toys or supervised play with rope toys. Shredding stuffed toys is her ultimate hobby—it makes her so proud!

Noelle is crate-trained and does well with respectful dogs and cats, as long as they give her bed space when she’s resting. She bonds deeply with her people and enjoys “walks” when supported with her full-body harness, though because she tires easily, these outings are best kept short and sweet. She also has a wheelchair, which she’s still figuring out and not exactly a fan of—it may become a useful tool for her with patience and time.

Because of her condition, Noelle’s future family will need to understand the physical care she requires. She cannot walk on her own, so she’ll need someone strong enough to help lift and support her when moving around. She is also incontinent and will need bladder expression every 3–4 hours to keep her comfortable and healthy. We know, we are likely looking for an extremely rare unicorn adopter but Noelle deserves it.
Noelle is a brave girl, but she’s also sensitive—bad weather really scares her, and she will need reassurance and comfort during storms. The good news? She absolutely loves to hang out in her splash pad and doggie pool, we’re hopeful her forever family may have a pool or introduce her to the beach. She also doesn’t mind playing dress-up and comes with a wardrobe of adorable outfits (though she’s nearly outgrown them thanks to her healthier weight!).

What Noelle needs most is a patient, loving home that sees her not just for her challenges, but for her courage and joy. She has come such a long way already, and with the right family, she’ll continue to thrive.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a one-of-a-kind companion who will love you unconditionally, Noelle is waiting to meet you.
