Noel - Lab pup girl's Story
Meet Noel, our happy 9-week-old Lab mix pup (as of Nov 17th). She is cuddly, playful, sweet, smart, super friendly and full of love to give. She loves to play with other dogs, big and small, and is used to playing with our kids who love carrying her around and cuddling with her. At 10lbs, she is the biggest pup of the litter, though she is still small compared to similar age Lab puppies so we think she is mixed with a smaller breed given her size, fluffy coat and curly tail. She sees herself as the protector of the group and is also the one with the strongest survival instinct, finding the best hiding places in the yard. It’s hard to believe that the strong, happy and thriving pup we have now is the same scared pup we found along with 2 of her litter mates abandoned in a box in a culvert at 5 weeks of age. She weighed only 3lbs, had not been weaned, had fleas, mange and worms, and couldn’t stop shivering. For the past 4 weeks, she has been treated for all these conditions at her foster home and under veterinary care and is back to full health, almost ready to find her forever family. I say ‘almost’ because she still needs to finish all her puppy shots and be spayed before being available for adoption, but she will have those completed and will be ready to find her forever home around the first week of December. Until then, we can certainly take applications and schedule meet and greets if you think she might be the missing piece of your family. If you are interested in Noel, the first step is to fill out an application at the link below. It is not a commitment to adopt her, just a means of introduction. Once we receive your application, her foster parents will reach out to discuss the process and plan a meet and greet.<br/>https://ffar.wufoo.com/forms/application-to-adopt-a-dog-from-ffar-plano-tx-copy/
