Noah's Story
Say hello to Noah! ✨
He's 1 year old • 20 lbs • Big dog energy in a fun-sized body 🖤🐾
If you’ve ever loved the look and brains of herding breeds but not the oversized package… Noah might be your guy. We think he could be a smaller Aussie/Cattle Dog/Kelpie mix — but your guess is as good as ours! What we do know? He’s 100% adorable and 100% personality.

Don’t let his petite frame fool you — there is a LOT packed into those 20 pounds.
🐾 Just over a year old — playful energy with some “almost grown-up” maturity
🐾 Loves to run, wrestle, and play
🐾Super friendly and is wonderful with children!
🐾 Total snuggle pup once he’s gotten his zoomies out
🐾 Quickly learning what’s his to chew (he redirects easily!)
🐾 Knows “sit” and uses the doggy door
🐾 Takes treats very gently
🐾 About 90% housebroken (does great on a consistent schedule)
🐾 Crate trained — settles beautifully and sleeps through the night

Noah does great with his foster pack and takes wonderful cues from other dogs — a confident yet easygoing canine buddy would be a fantastic match. That said, he absolutely loves his people and could thrive as an only dog, too.

He’s respectful with dog-savvy cats (a little enthusiastic at first, but listens well), and because of his smaller size he may need slow introductions to much larger dogs. After a little time to build confidence, he’s right back out in the yard playing like he’s always belonged. Noah will be such a wonderful member of a loving family and he's healthy, up to date on all his vaccinations and has a pending Neuter so he's ready to go! Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.coom) to get lots more info and videos of this sweet and fun little guy!
