Noah's Story

Meet Noah!

Those sad eyes might be his secret weapon, but Noah has so much more to offer than just being handsome!

Noah is a sweet, loving boy who does great with dogs, cats, and kids. He has been around two German Shepherds, a Dutch Shepherd, and another Belgian Malinois, and he gets along wonderfully with all of them. He also lives with an adult cat that he mostly couldnt care less about and a 13-year-old kiddo who he absolutely loves to follow around and play with.

Noah is a pretty simple guy when it comes to toys—give him his plush bear and hes happy! He also loves chewing on bones and is always ready for a good nap. And when we say he loves his naps, we mean he has standards. Noah prefers beds covered in plush comforters and pillows. If theres a comfy spot, he will find it!

He also loves climbing into the recliner with his people and somehow managing to squeeze himself in, no matter how little room there is.

Noah is also an excellent kitchen supervisor. He likes to keep a close eye on his people while they cook, just in case a crumb happens to hit the floor. And when its time to load the dishwasher, hes happy to lend a helping tongue with a sneaky lick or two.

Noah can be a little vocal when he wants something and isn't afraid to let you know! He also takes his job as home security seriously and will bark when someone comes to the door.

But underneath those big opinions is a handsome, affectionate boy who loves his people and wants to be right where they are.

And those sad eyes?

Well... lets just say Noah knows exactly how to use them to get what he wants.
If you're looking for a loving companion who will keep you company, make you laugh, supervise your cooking, steal your recliner, and melt your heart with one look—Noah might be your guy!

If interested in meeting Noah, please submit an application here: https://fjcasp.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application/

Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets's Adoption Policy
At FJCASP, we dedicate a great deal of love, time, and resources to caring for our animals, and our top priority is to see them go to permanent, loving homes with people who have the knowledge and means to provide proper care. Adoption Fee: $100–$150 Vet References Required We require that all potential adopters provide veterinary references. This allows us to confirm that any current or past pets have been kept up to date on vaccinations, preventatives, and are spayed/neutered. Most veterinary offices are familiar with this request. Our goal is to ensure that our animals are placed in homes where they will remain safe, healthy, and properly cared for. Long-Term Commitment Adopting a pet is a serious, long-term commitment. We want all potential adopters to understand their responsibilities and be prepared to care for an animal for its lifetime. Home Requirements To provide a safe environment, we require that adopters provide: - Proper shelter for the animal - Understanding of how to introduce a new pet to children and existing animals -Commitment to keeping the animal as an indoor pet Adoption Approval All adoptions must be finalized and approved by the FJCASP Board. This ensures oversight by experienced individuals who can confirm that all parties understand their responsibilities and that the animal’s welfare is prioritized. Adopter Responsibilities It is part of our adoption agreement that all medical treatments, veterinary costs, preventatives, food, and shelter are the sole responsibility of the adopter. Our goal is to place each animal in a loving, safe, and permanent home, and these guidelines help us ensure that every adoption is successful for both the pet and the adopter.
