Noah's Story

How do you get someone to pay attention to a big, black pittie mix? By talking about how perfect he is, of course! Noah is a 1-year-old, joyful, dopey weenie disguised as a 75lb muscle-bound panther.

Here's why he's great:

1. Incredibly housebroken
2. Thinks strangers are just new friends, so he will wiggle up to them respectfully, waiting for kisses and cuddles. Rarely jumps.
3. Quiet and well-behaved in the car. He loves to sit in the backseat and watch the world go by.
4. Doesn't bark at passing dogs or people. Doesn't bark very much at all, really. (Except in his sleep, while dreaming!)
5. Is fine being left alone in a room by himself while you're at work.
6. Loves to play, play, play with other dogs, especially the ladies. (Since he's a big'un, he's best with dogs his size or larger.)
7. His primary motivation is cuddles. You better believe he wants to sleep next to you in the bed or sprawl across your lap.
8. Will amuse himself with toys and long-lasting chews (especially the latter)!
9. Has such a gentle mouth, even if it's the size of the Grand Canyon.
10. Lets you touch his paws, tail, ears, etc. He doesn't mind wearing clothes either and is all-around tolerant.
11. He. Is. So. SHINY.
12. Did really well as a temporary office dog.
13. Everyone that meets him can't stop saying how wonderful he is!

Here's why he's weird:

1. Is a terrible pittie, because he doesn't burrow under covers or sleep in.
2. Also a terrible pittie because he doesn't care about rain or snow.
3. Will lick your body, clothes, books, phone, etc. when you're petting him.
4. Strange affection for small cardboard boxes. He leaves the medium and large boxes alone.
5. Thinks the brooms and mops are pretty scary. He slinks away to lay on his bed when they come out.
6. Needs a head halter for leash walks so he doesn't pull.
7. If a ball rolls between his legs, he thinks it has disappeared off the face of the earth.
8. A+ tree inspector because he recently discovered that squirrels go up trees. Now he looks up at every tree.

Why should you make Noah yours? Because, above all, he is NICE. He is happy. He will love you forever.

Noah is neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped.

If interested in Noah please fill out the adoption application on our website www.muttsinarutrescue.com
