When he was picked up, a microchip scan led rescuers back to his original owner, who was heartbroken to hear Nitro had been found wandering the streets. Years ago, his first human moved across the country and rehomed Nitro to a young lady who promised to care for him. Sadly, she could not be reached, and Nitro ended up on his own once again. Thankfully, Nitro attached himself to a kind person who offered to foster him until he finds his happy retirement! <br/>A little about Nitro:<br/>• Male<br/>• 8 years old<br/>• Black Lab mix<br/>• 106 pounds<br/>• House trained<br/>• Great co-pilot for all your road trips! <br/>• Excellent friend to your lonely resident pup =) <br/>• Non-aggressive with prey animals like squirrels and birds. <br/>• A Stranger is a FRIEND he hasn’t met yet! <br/>• Sweet, affectionate and the best foot warmer this side of the Mississippi! <br/>Nitro loves being with people.
