Ninja's Story
“Mr Ninja” – 7+ Yrs old Male Westie-mix, shots updated, neutered, super friendly guy, ball and toy player. Little guy weighing in at 18#. Loves attention and pets!

Found as a stray and now in foster care playing.

Best Home: A dog friendly environment with lots of care and attention.

? Gentle home
? Stay/work from home mom/dad would be great
? Leash walker or a fenced backyard is good too!
? House trained

Notes from my foster mom:
Ninja is a sweet guy, seems in good health except for flea allergy near tail area which is itchy. (Fleas treated at shelter w capstar - so none now) I’ve put acv and tea tree oil on area to relieve itch which seems to help, also Benadryl and giving high quality food w supplements and sardines to help gut issues. He has some fur loss and discoloration around tail area from itch due to fleas which will resolve now that fleas gone and as soon as skin less itchy. Shelter sent him w clavamox for skin itch.

He’s house trained, playful for short periods. Sleeps in crate at night but cries a bit. Loves to go for brief walks, pulls a bit on leash (best w well fitted harness w chest clip to protect esophagus) but will redirect. Probably would do best w SECURE escape proof fence as I feel he may be a wonderer, reason he may have landed in shelter. Likes to be near me. Gets along w my little 11lb Chi. A bit picky w food. Loves Dr Marty food as treats. About 18 lbs. Teeth nice for older dog. Shelter thinks 10 yrs. He seems younger to me, perhaps 7ish??

He would be great for active retiree, who is home a lot :)).

Ninja says: Hello from my foster home. The shelter gave me that bad name as I was found as a stray. I am open on ideas on what my name should be. I came in dirty and desperately needing a bath and a trim. My first few hours in foster care, I got all that taken care of and a blow dry. Boy, do I look and smell good! I am great little guy who needs a new home. I like everybody and I get along well with other nice dogs.

As you can see in my pictures, I am super cute. Two words that describe me are happy and sweet. I am crate trained and house trained. I get along well with other neutered dogs and like to meet and greet on walks. I want a great new home like my foster mom’s house. Dog friendly and lots of love.

Call now as I will not last long.

Location: North Carolina - Charlotte area - In foster care - waiting my new mom and dad. Call now!

Adoption Ready
