Nina's Story

Meet Nina 💖
This girl is a gentle soul with a quiet heart and so much love to give. 💕 She has spent over two years in rescue waiting for the right person to see what we see every day… and that wait has been far too long. 😔
Nina is shy at first, but her timid nature is simply her way of being careful with her heart. With patience and kindness, she blossoms into the most affectionate, loyal companion. She thrives in calm, peaceful homes and truly shines during quiet bonding moments with her people.
She adores soft voices, gentle affection, and nighttime cuddles. In fact, bedtime is her favorite, she wants to be as close as possible.... if not right on top of you. ❤️ She will also happily sleep all night in her kennel if you prefer and she sees her kennel as her safe place when she needs comfort.
Nina has the cutest nervous smile when she thinks she might be in trouble, it melts everyone instantly. She’ll gently paw at you if you stop petting her too soon because once she loves you, she loves you hard. 💗
She’s more of an investigator than a troublemaker - always quietly checking things out like your very own little PI 🕵️ She is a chewer, so keeping shoes and tempting items put away is important. 👟 🤭
Despite her reserved nature, Nina absolutely has a playful side with those she trusts. Watching her discover a new toy or enjoy a simple game is pure joy.
Adopting Nina means welcoming a calming, deeply loyal presence into your life. She is the kind of dog whose bond grows quietly but powerfully .... the kind that lasts a lifetime.
After two years of waiting… Nina’s turn is now.
Could you be her forever?
To meet Nina, apply below! 👇🏽
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TGLR/Dog
