Nina's Story

Meet Nina, a 50-pound lap dog trapped in a medium-sized dog body. Around 5 years old, Nina’s greatest passion in life is being involved in absolutely everything you’re doing. Sitting on the couch? She’ll be in your lap. Going for a walk? She’s ready. Car ride? Even better, especially if she can stick her head out the window and soak up the breeze like the main character she is. Nina loves people. She’s happiest when she’s snuggling, getting pets, following you around, or charming everyone she meets into giving her extra attention. She’s the kind of dog who genuinely believes strangers are just friends she hasn’t climbed onto yet. She’s also very social with other dogs and enjoys cuddling, wrestling, and playing with her canine friends. She can live with cats too, though she may occasionally try to boss them around a little. Her favorite things include antlers, bones, squeaky toys, soft blankets, and being included in family activities. Nina is a sensitive girl with a big heart, and she gets her feelings hurt pretty easily. Harsh corrections or being left out can really bum her out, so she’ll thrive in a home that appreciates her sweet, emotional personality and gives her plenty of love and reassurance. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate best friend who wants to be your shadow, couch buddy, and road trip companion all in one, Nina is ready to move in immediately. Nina is looking for a home with a fenced yard within an hour of Toledo, Ohio.
*If you do not meet the requirements listed for this dog, we are not obligated to respond to your application.
Due to high volume, inquiries made on petfinder and adoptapet will not be answered. Please complete an application on our website https://toledospetbullproject.com/adoption/
