As such, he is currently available for pre-adoption only until post snip.<br/>He can be seen daily (closed Mondays) at The Adoption House.<br/>If you currently own a dog and are interested in adopting one of ours, bringing your vet records with you will hasten your application process.

Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge's Adoption Policy
You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt.  You can fill it out an application in person at The Adoption House, 8476 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, or at FOTA sponsored off-site adoption events.    As our foster dogs live with us, we get to know their personalities and temperaments. We make every effort to find the right match between our dogs and their new families so that it can be a good and rewarding experience for all involved.   The adoption fee is $225 for dogs under 25 pounds and $175 for dogs over 25 pounds,. This includes the following: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, microchipping and heartworm testing. Please contact us for more info

Our mission is to rescue, re-home, or otherwise save as many dogs and puppies as possible from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).  Since starting in 2010, FOTA has found forever homes for more than 7,000 animals from the EBR Parish shelter and PASS program.
