Hi! I’m Nikolai! I’m a super sweet and lovable guy looking for a patient family to call my own. I can be pretty shy when meeting new people, but once I get to know you, I’ll be your loyal best friend and love being close to my person.<br/><br/>I’m both crate trained and house trained at my foster mom’s house. Sometimes when I move to a new place, I may regress a little with house training because I get nervous, but with patience and a routine, I settle in nicely.<br/><br/>Loud noises can be a little scary for me, so a calm home would help me feel safe. I’ve met kids and cats, but I haven’t been around them enough to be completely comfortable yet. Because of my shy nature, I would do best with older kids who understand that I need a little time to warm up.<br/><br/>Once I feel comfortable, I love to play outside! My favorite things are fluffy beds and balls. I’m a very well-behaved boy who knows my basic commands. Walks on a leash can still be a little intimidating for me because of loud noises, but I’m trying my best and improving with encouragement.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet companion who just needs a little patience and love to shine, I might be the perfect dog for you.<br/><br/>Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
