Niko Bravo Maltese & Poodle Mix Woodridge, IL

Niko Bravo is a three year old Malti-Poo who needs a special home, a home where everyone is on board with continuing to work with him on his behavioral issues and general obedience training and is well versed in canine body language.
He is very intelligent and responds well to positive reinforcement training, in the 2 months since coming into rescue he is making excellent progress as he just loves to learn new things and would flourish in a trusted environment.
Niko bonds quickly with humans and will make someone a great companion.
A home with a fenced in yard is ideal as Niko loves to run and play outdoors.
Due to his small size and big attitude, a home without children is a must.
He's a happy little dog who hasn't been shown any guidance until he came into rescue where he is now receiving professional training for resource guarding and obedience. He is trained to go on his mat, follow his human with the “touch “ command, emergency come when called with a whistle and queue to go into his kennel. Additional training is available to help Niko transition into your family.
Niko is neutered, has had a dental and is up to date on his vaccines.
