Niko's Story

Niko is a beautiful Husky who wound up at the shelter when he was picked up as a stray. He is estimated to be between 4-5 years old. Niko has a somewhat aloof personality, but will come around for some petting. He is looking for a home with someone with previous experience as a Husky owner. He’s known to be an escape artist so a fenced-in yard (with high fences) would best suit Niko. He’s moderately easy to leash and pulls a bit when going on a walk. An adult-only home or one with kids 16+ is preferred. Niko needs to be the only pet in the household. His $80 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccinations.
