Meet Niko! A gentle senior Lab mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to quit. At a whopping 93lbs, Niko is a big guy--but thankfully he's as sweet and gentle as they come. Despite a rough past, he is incredibly trusting and kind.<br/><br/>Niko is well-mannered and house-trained--he'll head to the door and give a polite little whine when he needs to go out. He sleeps peacefully in or out of a crate and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He's patient with his energetic foster sister and loves being around his people. Sweet, cuddly, and delightfully talkative, Niko has great energy for his age and still enjoys walks, light activity, and a good game of fetch.<br/><br/>He also happens to love vegetables! 🥦<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal, easygoing companion who brings both calm energy and big-dog love, Niko is your guy.
