Nikki's Story

Nikki was saved from euthanasia at an overcrowded municipal shelter. Initially, she was leary of people, a little reactive, and did not like cats. However, she warmed up and by day 2 she was the foster's best friend. Today, she is good with cats, albeit curious, but not aggressive. She's great with kids, women, and other dogs! Nikki walks great on a leash, and she is great in the car and loads right up. She likes rides. She is very leary of men, though. With some pepperonis and patience, she could probably acclimate to one. Shes very protective of her home. Overall, she will make a great companion for someone that can be patient, understanding, and give her time to acclimate to a new home.
