Niki Dalmatian Mounds, OK

Niki was rescued with her two-week-old puppies. She was surrendered to rescue by a family member of her owner who was not able to properly care for Niki, let alone five puppies. We are very grateful for that intervention!

Niki was emaciated and exhausted when she came to us. We are fairly certain the other dogs in the household were eating her share of the meals. That all changed in our care and now Niki is thriving, gaining weight, and happy, happy, happy!

She has now weaned her puppies and is getting to be a silly young dog again. We love seeing Niki playing in the yard, napping on her favorite dog bed, and playing with her puppies. She was a good little mom, but that is all behind her now.

Niki has done great in her foster home. She is now crate trained and house trained, is great with other dogs (though a rowdy player!), and very friendly and sweet. She loves to cuddle with you at night!

We are looking for Niki's perfect new home. She'll be spayed soon and will be ready to go after that. She is healthy and strong now.

Homes in the area of Northeastern Oklahoma are preferred. Long distance placements will be considered with strong references and a willingness to travel. We do not ship dogs or provide transport.
