Nike's Story

Foster, Foster to Adopt, or Adopt Nike! This beautiful Shep/Lab was surrendered to The REAL Bark when his owner could not afford to have his very large sock removed from his belly - apparently the second eating occurrence as a puppy!! This life-saving surgery gave Nike a new lease on life. Now almost one year old Nike has blossomed into a very magical pup - full of vibrant personality. He is smart, a fast learner, eager to please, yet very curious and loves life. Nike is practicing his basic commands, is fully house trained and crate trained, and walks great on leash. He has matured beautifully into a young adult pup, learning to be a very nice doggy daddy to other dogs - big and small. He is very playful and does very well listening to a good effective leader. He would do well in a home with a large secure yard for home activity, with lots of walks, hikes and adventures, and would be great with other dogs in the home as well.
