Nigel has a strong “don’t touch me, I’ll come to you” attitude. He does not appreciate being approached quickly, reached for, or smothered with affection. He prefers to initiate interaction on his own terms. He is intelligent, sensitive, and quick to notice changes around him. He thrives with structure, predictability, and clear, respectful communication.<br/><br/>When given space and the ability to choose interaction, he relaxes beautifully and bonds deeply with his people. Understanding and respecting canine body language will be essential for his success.<br/><br/>In the home Nigel is:<br/>• Fully house trained<br/>• Non-destructive<br/>• Able to be left alone for short periods<br/>• Excellent at self-settling<br/><br/>He loves his ball, proudly parades his toys around, and benefits from both mental enrichment and physical activity appropriate for a working breed.
