Nigel 's Story

Nigel was picked up as a stray and taken to a rural shelter we help. He was very scared, and we knew he needed help quickly. Thankfully, one of our fosters agreed to bring Nigel into her home. Once he was out of the shelter, he showed us his real personality. He is a sweet pup who just needed a chance. Nigel has completed his veterinary care, and we hope he’ll find a great home soon!

Nigel has done great with children as young as 6, and he is friendly with cats too. He is food motivated and is learning with treat rewards. He is almost house trained and leash trained. Nigel will be a great pup to raise.

He is 4 months old and weighs 24 pounds. We think he’s a Border Collie mix, and will be a medium sized adult.

Nigel is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Nigel can arrive in Hartford, Connecticut on 4/25.
