Nickie is a 7-year-old Pomeranian mix weighing about 12 pounds who had spent most of her life confined to a cage. When she was finally given freedom, it took several days for her to feel safe enough to step out on her own—a quiet testament to what she endured.<br/> Despite her past, she is a loving, gentle girl who is learning that the world can be kind. With patience and reassurance, she continues to blossom, and she will thrive in a calm, compassionate home that understands how special it is to earn her trust.<br/>She does well with other dogs and finds comfort in having them around!
