Nick's Story

Nick is now 9 weeks old and weighs 3.9 lbs. He is as sweet as can be and has the gentlest personality and demeanor. He is currently using potty pads and doing great. Nick loves to run and play with one of his smallest canine foster brothers. While he is comfortable with the other dogs in the home being close by, he doesn't really interact or play with them. He needs another small canine friend in his forever home! After playtime, he settles down on his bed or snuggles up with his foster mom. At night, he sleeps through the night in his playpen like a champ. We will not be placing him in a home with children under 12, due to his small size!

If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org

*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours.

*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck

*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):

Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee

Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
