NICK's Story

WATCH MY VIDEO...At 7 years old, no dog as wonderful as Nick should be in a shelter. They should be in a home, with a family that adores them! That's what we're hoping for Nick. Nick was transferred to us from a rural shelter where he was sadly being overlooked simply because there were few adopters in that area. Now he’s here, patiently waiting for someone to see what a special gentleman he is. This sweet and silly guy has quickly become a staff favorite. His nickname is “Rambling Nick” because he has the cutest little bark and is not afraid to tell you what’s on his mind, always in the gentlest, most endearing way. He knows his name, comes when called, and is a smart boy who truly just wants to be near his people. Nick is potty trained, walks well on leash, and is affectionate and well mannered. He seems to like other dogs, but as always we would recommend a dog meet to make sure it’s the right fit. We are not sure how he is with kitties. He would make the perfect couch potato companion, happily lounging the day away with you. His adoption fee has been generously covered by his friends at @subaruofpembrokepines . He even has some goodies he’ll get to take home when he finds his forever family. The only thing missing now is a home to call his own. If you have room in your heart for a sweet, talkative boy who is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick, please come meet Nick. And if you cannot adopt, sharing his story helps more than you know. To meet Nick, visit humanebroward.com and complete a pre adoption application. The adoption kennels are open daily at 11 a.m. at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale.
