Nick's Story

Nick is one of those dogs you never forget not just because of his gorgeous Collie mix coat or his gentle eyes, but because of the warmth and joy he brings to everyone around him.

At just the start of his life, Nick found himself on the euthanasia list at a rural Kentucky shelter. He was out of time and out of options until a we stepped in and gave him the second chance he so deeply deserved.

Today, Nick is thriving in his foster home, where he’s showing what a truly special dog he is. He’s playful, affectionate, and loves nothing more than a good toy and a cozy spot to cuddle up. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and would make a fantastic addition to a family.

Nick is currently being fostered with his best friend Bo, and the two are inseparable chasing toys, sharing chewies, and curling up together at nap time. While they don’t need to be adopted together, they’ve formed a beautiful bond that speaks to Nick’s gentle and loyal heart.
