Nicholas has an excess of skin as a result of having once had large masses on his body. The masses were surgically removed, and he was left with extra skin. We know some people go crazy for doggy wrinkles, but Nicholas takes this look to a whole new level. Extra skin means extra to love and it sure is easy to love Nicholas. He gets along great with everyone he meets—dogs, humans, and even cats! He is a staff and volunteer favorite because he exudes personality. He enjoys a nice frolic in the yard, but he’s definitely no athlete—a great companion for those that like a well-balanced lifestyle and would enjoy a gentle senior to join them. His favorite thing? Treats, treats, and more treats. He’s also a fan of head scratches and leash walks. He loves to put his sniffer to the test, especially if there are treats hiding in the grass.
