Niblet Chihuahua Cumming, GA

This is Niblet. He is a Chihuahua mix and weighs 15 lbs and he’s about a year and a half old.

When we found out this little guy was in a shelter we quickly rescued him because he was visually scared to death he was shivering and it was clear he needed to get out of there. The shelter can be a very scary place especially when you are little, scared and so young.

Niblet is a very loving dog and is slowly coming out of his shell and he has learned that a walk outside is fun. He walks well on a leash.
Unfortunately Niblet has tested positive for Heart worms so he is currently undergoing treatment for that. We believe he will make a full recovery!

Little Niblet has learned to fetch and he absolutely loves belly rubs and ear rubs. He loves to be loved and will love you right back as soon as he knows he’s safe. He’s a sweet boy and he loves to play .

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
