Newton's Story
Newton is a very handsome 3-5 year old rough coated German Shepherd who came to us as a stray. He was wearing a collar, but so far no one has come for him. He is very well-mannered, has great focus and loves to retrieve a tennis ball. He is not neutered and in the beginning just ignored all of the obnoxious testosterone-induced barking, but is now starting to bark back. He is very gentle and appears to be well-trained. We have contacted rescue, but foster homes are hard to come by for rescues who are packed full just like most shelters. We can't imagine why no one is looking for Newton as he is just a wonderful boy. I think a trip to the vet for some "removal" and he would be perfect!
