Meet Nessarose — or as her friends call her, Nessa!<br/><br/>1 year<br/>40 lbs<br/>Spayed female<br/><br/>Nessarose—better known as Nessa, NessiQuick (because she’s lightning-fast when food is involved), or Naynay—is a young beagle/pit mix with a heart full of happiness and a tail that never stops wagging. Honestly, we’re convinced she’s never had a bad day in her life… and if she has, she’s already forgotten about it.<br/><br/>Nessa is extremely food motivated, which makes her a dream to train. She already knows sit, down, and place, and she even enjoys working on the treadmill! She’s smart, eager to learn, and always ready to do just about anything if there’s a snack involved.<br/><br/>She is fully house trained, with one very helpful quirk—she’s on a reliable schedule and will need to go out to poop about 15–20 minutes after meals (thank you, internal clock). Keep that routine and you’ll be golden!<br/><br/>This girl gets along beautifully with every dog she meets and is wonderful with both adults and kids. She loves being part of whatever her people are doing—whether that’s training, hanging out, or just moving from room to room together. Nessa also likes to keep something in her mouth, and as long as she has toys available, she makes great choices and stays busy in all the right ways.<br/><br/>When her people are away, Nessa does great in her crate, settling in calmly until they return.
