Neo's Story

Neo is a 3 year old bully breed mix, about 70 pounds. When neo came to us from the shelter, he was emaciated and had pressure sores all over his body. He was neglected and abused. Because of that, he has real trust issues surrounding new people. We have worked hard with him to put weight back on him and get him physically healthy, but his emotional scars still linger.<br/>Here’s the positives: he is good with cats. He is very food motivated and takes treats very gently. He knows how to sit and has been working on laying down on command. He is crate trained and house trained. He has no issues resource guarding with food or treats and will give them up to people. Once he trusts you, he is content to chew on his bone and occasionally cuddle. He is also muzzle trained. He can be with other dogs but he plays rough and is a vocal player.
