This is Nene, a sweet, young, male Pit Bull mix searching for a soft landing spot. Nene is around 1 year old and weighs 44 lbs. His people moved away and left him behind with a friend, who was unable to care for Nene long term, so he was surrendered to PK. Nene isn’t jaded by his circumstances though; he still just wants to be around people and receive all of the cuddles! He is a little scared of new things, but he’ll grow out of that with time and a supportive family. He’s curious and playful, although he’s still learning to appreciate toys. He grew up with another dog and can be tested to see how he does with kitties upon request. We think Nene would be fine with gentle children.
