6/10/2015: Nemo is a super fun and sweet Pit Bull mix. He’s 1 1/2 years old and he’s very friendly. Nemo LOVES to play with other dogs. He plays nicely in play groups and really enjoys being with other dogs. Nemo also loves people. He's affectionate and he calms down nicely after some exercise and will just hang out and relax. We've taken Nemo to many satellite adoption events and he's always very well behaved and easy to handle-- he's often the best behaved dog at our events! He is also house trained.

We've taken Nemo to agility classes at The Dogs' Spot. Check out his video to see him in action! He enjoys it and does really well. He also knows sit and down and other basic obedience commands.

Nemo is short and stocky but not very big. He weighs about 40 lbs.

Nemo is a great little dog and will make a wonderful companion and a fun playmate for another dog. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. We placed him into a loving home for a few months, but sadly the family's other dog did not adjust to Nemo and was picking on him, so they had to bring Nemo back. The family told us that Nemo is a great dog.

> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our dogs & puppies have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas & ticks, tested for heartworms (7 mo. and over), and are on monthly heartworm preventative. Puppies who are too young to receive all the necessary puppy boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. You will also receive a leash, collar, coupons for pet supplies and services, toys, and educational materials. And we'll give your dog a bath before he or she goes home!

> Please note that we prefer and may require a fenced yard for many of our dogs. Exceptions are made on an individual basis depending on the dog's needs, the person's dog experience, the dog's and person's activity levels, home environment and other factors.

> An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements. If you decide you'd like to adopt one of our dogs, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the dog home with you that same day.
