Nelson is also 60(ish) pounds of sweetness and please-may-I puppy eyes. His favorite thing to do (besides, y'know, Hound Business) is lean against me and stare deep into my soul. He'd do it all day long if I let him - and if things did not demand to be sniffed and categorized. It's only mildly creepy, but that's because he's so polite about it all. He's a good, hearty southern boy like that. Nelson deserves happiness. He deserves grass to sniff, and people to lean into. I'd say he deserves the whole world, but let's be real - probably not smart to give it to a hound. Their attention span is somewhere between “SQUIRREL!” and “Is that opossum-stink or raccoon-stink?” Give him your world anyway.
