She can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate, loyal companion who thrives with activity, structure, and encouragement.<br/><br/>Favorite activities: Nellie enjoys long walks, hikes in the woods, running at the dog park or farm, swimming, playing in water, and showing off her excellent fetch and frisbee skills. She would do best with someone who enjoys keeping her mind and body engaged.<br/><br/>Training and home life: Nellie is crate trained, house-trained, obedient, and very treat-motivated. She has a fast recall, knows more than 10 commands, loves puzzles, and is fun to continue working with because she is so smart and eager to engage.<br/><br/>Other animals: Nellie can do well in small groups of dogs when the match is right and introductions are handled properly.
