Questions will be forwarded to current caregiver who rescued these girls out of the pound before they lost life...... Nellie was surrendered to a southern shelter with her friend Belle after the girls owner could no longer keep them due to health problems. He did hunt with both, but now Nellie is ready to be a companion, family pet. <br/>She is 50 lbs, 2 years old, UTD on vaccs and scheduled for spay surgery. Nellie is good with other dogs and animals, good with kids (the owner who surrrendered her had grandkids) and will be treated for heartworms. She should be ready by Oct 26th for transport to a new adoptive home. This breed is best in an active home with large privacy fence, 6 ft fence or invisable fence..
