Nellie Bellie

We became familiar with Nellie as a puppy this past September. She had contracted the deadly parvo virus and the community stepped up, raised money and through medical support, she was able to live. From there the owner surrendered and Nellie went to live with a family in WI. <br/><br/>We were contacted about 6 weeks ago that their resident dog was attacking Nellie and the situation was getting worse. They asked if she could join our program so that we could find her a safe home. Nellie spent 3 weeks with our trainer to make sure she didn’t have any “baggage” from her previous interactions. Nope! She is solid behaviorally! <br/><br/>Nellie is all of 38# full grown. She’s now just about a year and a half old and is just the happiest of girls. Nellie is a young and appropriately playful girl! She can play ball in the backyard and then crash out on the couch. Nelly has interacted daily with various dogs with our trainer and did great and now has lived in a foster home for a month with another dog. She would love a playmate but she’d also be fine being an only dog. Nellie is very loving and wants to be a part of the family! She would enjoy a fenced in backyard and is good with people of all ages and sizes. We are unaware of how she is with cats as she has not been exposed to them. She’s also fully crate and potty trained! She’s the complete package! <br/><br/>Nellie is spayed, current on vaccinations, chipped and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $325.
