In this program, I built confidence and learned that the world is not so scary. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. <br/>- Once I warm up, I've been described as a wiggly, goofy and social girl!<br/>- Volunteers say that I walk well on leash here at the shelter.<br/>- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.<br/><br/>Hi there, I’m Nellie! <br/><br/>I’m a one-year-old sweetheart with the softest fur you’ve ever felt (seriously... you’ll want to keep petting me, and I fully support that). I’m currently enrolled in Confidence College, where I’m working on feeling my very best around new people and new situations. I might be a little shy at first, but I warm up pretty quickly, especially with treats. Once I do get comfortable... get ready for the wiggles!<br/><br/>When I’m comfy, I turn into a goofy, social gal who loooves being around her people. I’ll lean right into you for pets and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. Being close to my humans is my favorite place to be. Whether we’re hanging out on the couch or exploring the yard, I just love doing life together. <br/><br/>I’m a big fan of enrichment activities that keep my brain busy, and I’d love a home with a fenced yard where I can safely play and stretch my legs. I’d prefer to be your one and only pup... I really shine when I don’t have to share my people.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a soft, snuggly, wiggly best friend who will adore you with her whole heart, I think we might be perfect for each other.
