Neeko

This handsome goldendoodle was surrendered to another Texas rescue in the Spring of '24, but after he came down with a mystery illness, they reached out to other rescues for help. Our rescue leader picked him up and took him straight to 24 hour emergency care where he stayed for several days. He has been recovering at our rescue leaders home under her watchful eye and our local Veterinarian's care, where he's slowly putting weight back on and gaining muscle mass (he'll be around 60 lb.) <br/><br/>He's ready to start looking for his furever family because OH MY GOSH this boy is the most perfect young pup (birthday is Feb 13, 2023). His description is about to blow your mind and I promise it's all for real, so here we go: <br/><br/>Neeko is a total gentleman. He loves bedtime snuggles, and gentle welcome home greetings, he doesn't jump up or bark much, and he takes treats gently. <br/><br/>He lays down peacefully during car rides and doesn't mind a seatbelt. He's not destructive and is great in his kennel bedroom. He's an angel at the groomer and at the vet. <br/><br/>He hops around like a bunny when he's extra happy, he walks on a leash like a pro, and he doesn't react much to squirrels or other animals. He loves to stop on walks for kids to pet his floofy head.<br/><br/>Neeko is so loving and when his foster mom sits on the floor he walks over to her and pushes his head into her for love. And he loves to share watermelon with you!<br/><br/>He won't lick your face, or climb your stairs, or pull your shoulder on a walk.
