Nash's Story
Meet Nash! He was abandoned at the local dog park, along with his brothers, Stills (adopted) and Crosby (available for adoption). Nash is the shy one, but does love to snuggle once he's comfortable with you. He's a mixed breed, weighing 53 lbs. Nash came in as a scaredy-cat and has made huge progress in realizing that the world & people are not scary. He enjoys couch time and demands snuggles and pets. Nash has been dog friendly and is already out in the play yard with another dog. He has traveled up to WA with the transport team and did great! During his crate testing we found that if the crate door is not totally secured, he will pull a Houdini and be waiting at the door for you after he’s eaten a bag of snacks! He would thrive with a loving family who can bring out some self-confidence. We think he could coexist with a cat, with proper supervision and slow introductions. Nash enjoyed his time walking and hanging out with kids (see video on our Dogs of Del Norte County FB page).

Sound like the new fur addition to your family?
Come check out our adoptable dogs at 2650 Washington Blvd, Crescent City, CA 95531.
