Naomi McGee's Story
Naomi McGee — 18 months to 2 yrs • 9.5 lbs • Chi/Pom Mix

Naomi McGee is a joyful, affectionate little dog!

Naomi is social, playful, and loves everyone she meets. She’s a great road‑trip buddy, a fetch fanatic, and a snuggler who burrows under the covers. She’s wonderful with small dogs, friendly with cats, and good with older children. Larger dogs can be overwhelming for her.

Medical Needs

Naomi has congenital Megaesophagus (ME) and has been evaluated by an internist at SAGE RWC. She is very easy to manage:

Takes Omeprazole and Sildenafil without any issues
Eats in an upright position
Thrives with routine and mindful mealtimes

Experience with ME is helpful but not required — her foster family will guide adopters through her care routine. Medications are about 75.00 a month. She does have an internist that she sees every 6 months at SAGE.

Ideal Home

Naomi would love a calm, supportive home where she can be included in daily life and adored for her sweet, playful personality. She’s young, fun, and full of love. She loves dog parks, hikes and does great at outdoor cafes, pubs and events.

Naomi IS left home alone with other dogs. She can be a bit vocal on occasion when home alone but almost always settles and naps with the other pets in the home.

Located in the SF Bay Area and ready to meet her forever family.

Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for NAOMI McGEE is $300.

If you are interested in adopting

NAOMI McGEE

, please complete our online adoption application at
https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/

.
