Nanna Lewis's Story

Hey, hey. What did you say? Well, my name is Nanna. Yes, I am an old white fluff ball, maybe Maltese and poodle, and I'm deaf, and I pretty much do my own thing. I like people and other dogs, but what I like best is sleeping and eating. I like to go outside and potty--and I may reward you with my very special "Potty Dance". What I don't like are pools--they tend to trip me up! And I'm not much of a cuddler. I'll lay down by you for about 20 minutes then I'm off to MY bed. But don't get me wrong, I love petting and contact, but on my terms. Where was I? Well like I said I'm old and it'll come to me.

From Nanna's foster mom. Nanna is a sweetheart. Tzuzoorescue was told she was 15 but she might be a little younger. It's going to take a special family to adopt her. She's definitely not a puppy but she's only on heart worm and flea prevention. It's going to take patience and lots of love. But I think with both she will love you for many more years. Oh and did I say, Nanna doesn't bark!

Please apply at tzuzoorescue.com if you are interested in adopting from Tzu Zoo Rescue. More information available by contacting tzrinquiries@tzuzoorescue.com.

[NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
