Nanna came to us from Texas after being found roaming the streets. She was incredibly shy when she first arrived, but with time and patience, she has found her confidence—and now her happy, social personality shines!

Nanna is dog-friendly with proper introductions and prefers submissive male dogs. She does best with off-leash introductions, and once she connects with another dog, she is ready to PLAY! Having a dog friend brings out her playful side and motivates her to do all those fun dog things, like walks and playing with toys.

At home, Nanna enjoys napping, lounging in the sunshine, watching wildlife, and being near her people. She is potty-trained, can hold it for long periods, and is crate-trained—she goes in nicely and settles right away.

Nanna is incredibly smart and clever, so she needs a family who will keep her mentally stimulated and continue working on training. She would do best with someone experienced with herding tendencies who can help her work through leash reactivity and reactivity toward other dogs. She can become destructive when bored, so enrichment, training, and plenty of mental exercise will be important. She also has seasonal allergies that are managed with medication.

Once Nanna has time to trust and get to know you, she is incredibly fun, affectionate, and loving. Shes come so far already, and with the right person willing to give her patience, guidance, and plenty of opportunities to use her brilliant brain, we know her best chapter is still ahead!

If interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website at www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org; please make sure you fill in every required field/question, or your submission will not go through.
