I really wanted to play, but he was a bit shy. *I loved snoozing away *I really was good during meal prep! I sat very patiently and didn’t feel like I needed to guard my food. *I know how to sit. Have a treat? I’ll take it very gently from you! *I was a quiet girl *I love to give and receive affection *I’ll sometimes wake up at night to check on you, and when you reassure me you’re still there, I’ll thump my tail and go back to sleep *I’m more petite, but I love my walks so much I’ll pull a little. Put me in a harness and I’m much better *Did great with kids and all people *Rides very well in the car. *Very much a cuddler *She had an extremely gentle demeanor *Loves to fall asleep on your lap *Walks great on a leash *No potty accidents at all

Specific animals get adopted quickly: *Puppies *Kittens *Small Breeds *Pure breeds We are the municipal shelter for the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. This means that we cannot hold animals for interested parties. It also means that many of our adoptable pets are strays and we don’t have any background or personality notes about most of them. Our advice is to come to our adoption center and meet the pet you are interested in asap.
