Nana's Story

www.huskyrescueteam.org

If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.orgMeet Nana! She is a two years old , 55 pound Husky mix.

Nana was originally adopted from one of our partner shelters as a puppy but was brought back to the shelter when the Adopter felt she was ‘not a good fit’ because she play nips at children. Um, hello... She's still a puppy! Being an owner surrender in a full shelter, her fate was uncertain so we brought her into our program. Nana loves other animals and plays like a true Husky. According to her previous owners she loves to dig and needs an abundance of tough toys.

Nana was a sweetheart when she arrived back at the shelter and did a great job sharing her space with another dog. She's an energetic girl who knows how to sit on command.

The shelter had named her Blue, but her foster dad starting calling her Nana, like a Banana and it stuck!

She's being fostered in NC now. She'd like a fenced yard to run and play in. Nana is spayed, current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Her adoption area CT to GA, all states in between and we can transport!~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply

If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.org
