Nana's Story

🐾Meet Nana🐾 Nana is a 2.5 year old German Shepherd mix and she is ready to find her furever home! Nana is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed soon. She is ready to find her family! She came to us from Evansville Animal Care & Control (Official) where she was found running stray with a couple other dogs, including Linda, and both she and Linda were nursing pups. Now, she no longer has to struggle to raise pups while homeless. Her pups are ready to be on their own and Nana is ready for a fresh start! She is super sweet and was such a good mom. She does need a home without cats. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application on our website or in person. Warrick Humane Society's Adoption Policy

The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets. We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.
