Meet Nala
Nala is in a foster home. Please call MHS at 219-872-4499 to adopt her.
Calling all Boxer dog fans! One of our amazing volunteers was curious about Nala's breeds, so she ordered a DNA test...we now know that Nala is: 53.4% Boxer + 27.2% American Bully + 19.4% American Pit Bull Terrier! Talk about three amazing breeds combined to make one 100% good girl! And, oh yeah! Her adoption fee is sponsored to an approved applicant!
She is always so wiggly. You would've never guessed she came to us starving and scared. Let's not forget that she has the BEST smile and she is always cheesing so hard that she squints! She is so very sweet and is always so excited to come out and play!
We like to describe Nala as an independent gal but also very loyal to people. She would do fine as the only dog but also has done well with other playful pups. Nala has done well with kiddos about 8ish and up.
She loves car rides and is always looking out the window. She's such a sweetheart. Nala's ideal family would be one where she can join them for daily walks. She would also love to play fetch with tennis balls because that makes her so happy! She is the best fetcher ever! She also loves sniffing through snufflemats.
Nala is a treat-motivated gal! Oh, and another amazing thing about her is that she takes treats so gently. She is about six and a half years old and is spayed.
