Nala's Story
Nola is very sweet and gentle. She wants nothing more than to be with her people and be loved, but she can be very timid with new people. Once she knows you, she is very affectionate. She's very smart and figured out very quickly how to open the latch on her gate. That particular talent probably explains why she was found as a stray. She has a very strong prey drive, so her new home should not have cats or small animals. She has done well with other dogs that she has met, but in a foster home she did growl at the other dog, so perhaps she has some resource issues. She requires an experienced dog owner, preferably someone very familiar with husky quirks! She will drop to the ground on her back if she doesn't want to go somewhere and will let out a squeal that makes everyone think you kicked her!

Want to know more about fostering or adopting Nala?
