Nala

Nala is a four year old German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix. She is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Nala came to us from an crowded, out of state shelter. She was in a kennel with several dogs, trying to get enough to eat. We had space for her. She is now running and living again. Nala is happy and learning to trust again. She is very people social and good with dogs after an approrpriate meet and greet. No cats please! Nala knows some commands, is very smart, attentive and wants to learn more. She loves to run and herd. Nala has an injury centered in each eye. She is not blind but has blurred vision directly in front of her. She relies on her peripheral vision and hearing to manage. Because of this issue, Nala has a unique leash manner style. She will zig-zag to get her references. Nala does not like being enclosed in a kennel but does fine with an open dog house, shed or barn to snuggle in instead. Nala would be most happy if she could land herself on a farm or ranch herding and running. Doing what she loves most!<br/>We require a meet and greet at your home with family and pets. Therefore, we are limited to a 60 mile radius from St. Anthony, ID. Exceptions can be discussed.
