Because she has had very little prior socialization, she is easily startled by fast movements and would thrive with slow introductions and a gentle, consistent approach. Once she is comfortable, she offers lots of affection to humans, though she seems to have zero interest in the toys she has at this time. On the move, she is a dream to handle, as she walks very calmly and is exceptionally easy to manage on a leash.<br/><br/>Nala already knows the "sit" command and is eager to expand her skills, though she can be a bit snatchy with treats while she works on putting on some much-needed weight. Although she is currently a bit too overwhelmed to focus on toys, she would benefit greatly from confidence-building exercises in a quiet environment. Regarding her social preferences, we do not yet know how she does with other dogs; however, we will provide an update on her compatibility once she has had the opportunity to enter our playgroup.
