NACHO's Story

Nacho is an adult Pit Bull mix who is a certified Nervous Nelly with a heart of pure gold. The shelter has been a lot for him to take in, but with a little patience and kindness, this sweet boy blossoms into a loyal shadow who would happily glue himself to your side. Once he’s comfortable, Nacho shows off his goofy, playful side and discovers that exploring the outdoors is actually pretty amazing. He’s super sweet, a little unsure of the world, and absolutely ready for a calm, understanding home that will help him build confidence and remind him that life doesn’t have to be scary. Aurora Animal Care & Control is open to the public for adoptions: Monday-Saturday: 12pm - 4pm Closed all Sundays and government holidays Adoptions are first come, first serve. If you would like more information or have questions about any of our adoptable animals, please contact Aurora Animal Care & Control at 630-256-3630 or email adopt@aurora.il.us for more details.
