Mystic's Story

Mystic is a petite, energetic 3-year-old who's all personality in a knee-high frame. She appears to be a Pit Bull/Husky mix, with a compact build and striking eyes that match her mystical name. Mystic loves people with her whole heart-she'll hug, jump up, and happily climb into your lap for all the attention she can get. She's playful, bouncy, and full of joy. Mystic is sassy, loving, and full of life-perfect for anyone ready for a fun-sized dog with a huge personality. Friends & Playtime: Mystic enjoys other dogs-Bon Jovi is her favorite! She's confident and quick to correct him if he gets too rowdy. She's also lived with cats and does well, loves toys, and sometimes gives her beds a little "redecorating," just for fun. She'd do great in a home with kids too. She was seen being thrown from a vehicle in Cleveland near a busy road and, after chasing the car in confusion, we set a humane trap to get her safe and sound. She's been thriving with us ever since and recently returned from a foster home, ready for either a new foster or her forever family.

Journey's Legacy's Adoption Policy

At Journey’s Legacy Rescue, our goal is to match every dog with the perfect forever home. To ensure the best fit for both our dogs and adopters, we follow a structured adoption process: 1. Submit an Application The first step is to complete our adoption application. This helps us learn more about you, your household, and what you’re looking for in a companion. 2. Application Review Once your application is reviewed, our team will contact you if you are approved to move forward. 3. Meet & Greet If approved, we will help you set up a meet-and-greet with the dog you are interested in. This allows you to interact with the dog and make sure it feels like the right fit. 4. Finalize Adoption If the meet-and-greet goes well, you will choose a day to bring your new family member home. At that time, you will: Sign the adoption contract Pay the adoption fee. Transport fee of up to $200 applies to areas if more than a 2-hour drive dependent on the distance. From there, your new best friend will officially become part of your family! ???
