Myrtle's Story

Meet Myrtle!

Myrtle is a 2 year old female pittie mix. She’s around 60 pounds and has medium energy. She loves to jump and be playful but she also loves to snuggle her people!

Myrtle is highly motivated by treats and attention. She sits very pretty, doesn’t display any guarding behaviors, and eats from a slow feeder due to being emaciated when she came to us. She seems to be housebroken but needs a little work on not pulling on the leash.

She is a love bug but could be doggy selective so a meet and greet is recommended.

We do offer foster to adopt to make sure it’s the perfect fit. Adoptions are currently $50. Please call the shelter at 740-474-3741 to make an appointment to meet Myrtle!

*We do not kid or cat test; that does not mean we don't have dogs we believe would be kid or cat friendly! Your best bet is to call and ask our staff! Our only indicator of “dog friendliness” is how they react when walking by the kennels, so we always recommend a meet and greet*
